Description
With this 1616 cuvée, Michaël Régaud pays tribute to the founding of La Tuilerie du Puy. Crafted from the estate’s historic vines, this is an unconventional, exclusive and innovative Bordeaux wine. The nose is exceptional. It reveals rich floral notes intertwined with aromas of exotic fruits, lychee and guava. All this is underscored by a subtle woody nuance. The attack is crisp, with floral notes that gradually give way to more complex exotic notes.

An exceptional vinification process
The grapes come from a selection of very old clay-limestone plots. They are specially harvested at night to preserve the full freshness of the aromas and limit oxidation. We carry out skin maceration for 24 hours to extract the rich aromas from the grapes, then press them and transfer the juice directly into oak barrels. Depending on the plots and the organoleptic qualities of the juices, we pair them with different oak varieties (Missouri, Slovakia, Caucasus, France)
carefully selected.
