
Founded in 1808, the Drappier estate is, above all, a great family story in Champagne. The vineyard covers nearly 90 hectares, comprising a collection of plots acquired over time. Environmental and climate protection is not merely a pose in this sector. Organic production applies to the bulk of the range, from non-vintage bruts to the top vintages. Furthermore, as Michel Drappier is intolerant to sulphur, he produces champagnes with minimal sulphur content. Notably, a brut nature that is completely sulphur-free.

In 2019, Michel Drappier was awarded the Innovation Prize by RVF: “There are now a thousand ways to bring about an ‘eco’ revolution.” Between organic, ‘natural’, sustainable, vegan and biodynamic methods, Michel Drappier has chosen a path that is original to say the least: offsetting 100% of his carbon emissions, the infamous CO2. This makes him, officially since the 2018 harvest, the first ‘zero-carbon’ champagne (Ecoact-certified).”
