Description
The Général de Comte Abbatucci cuvée is a unique wine made from old vines of indigenous grape varieties grown on granite soil. It has a brilliant yellow colour with green highlights. Highly expressive and refined, the nose reveals aromas of Mediterranean scrub, jasmine and acacia flowers. The bouquet evolves significantly in the glass, resembling a great Alsatian Riesling with petrol and flint notes. On the palate, it offers a perfect balance between fine, penetrating tannins and mineral tension. The extremely persistent and savoury finish releases notes of camphor and spice. A little gem that reveals itself as one of Corsica’s greatest white wines.
