Description
The classic Domaine Combier
bears the estate’s signature whilst perfectly reflecting the Crozes-Hermitage appellation. This unique terroir, with its smooth, warm rounded pebbles, produces a structured, fruity and rounded wine with well-integrated tannins. Both on the nose and on the palate, we find a very distinguished Syrah: dark colour, blackcurrant, floral notes of violet, liquorice, pepper… it’s all there! The texture is silky, the tannins well-integrated, and the finish very interesting: a slightly salty tension on the finish enhances the sense of intensity. A duck parmentier or a vegetable stir-fry with soy sauce will bring out its best.
