Description
The Pouilly-Fuissé A François is Jessica Litaud’s only Villages cuvée. It is a blend of two micro-plots: a 0.50-hectare plot from the Pouilly-Fuissé Aux Charmes village appellation, in the cool terroir of Vergisson; and a 0.18-hectare plot known as Les Croux, situated on the lower slopes of the Roche de Vergisson. A light profile with crisp fruitiness (fresh apricots, white peaches). We appreciate the finesse and tension of this wine, which calls for some frogs’ legs, stuffed mussels, or fried trout or smelt.
