Now run by Catherine Faller and her son Théo, the Weinbach estate is a benchmark in France and around the world, with its Grands Crus having become legendary among all lovers of fine Alsatian wines.

The estate’s terroirs are both rich and diverse, boasting exceptional geological features within the favourable microclimate of the Kaysersberg Valley. Each terroir imparts its own character and affinities to the various grape varieties, particularly the renowned Schlossberg.
Biodynamics: a natural choice
Biodynamic viticulture has been practised at the Weinbach estate since 1998. It stimulates the biological activity of the soil whilst respecting natural balances, thereby allowing the terroir to express itself more fully. This involves vine cultivation, ploughing and soil management, yield control, and the avoidance of weedkillers, fertilisers and chemical treatments in favour of organic methods.
