In the Basque Country, the Brana estate has long been renowned for its fruit brandies and liqueurs. They are served in the world’s finest restaurants and recommended by Michelin-starred chefs. The fruit brandies and liqueurs are produced by maceration or distillation in copper stills. The essence of the fruit, purity of aroma, respect for tradition and a commitment to excellence. These are the values of the Brana estate in the Basque Country.
In 1974, Etienne Brana and his wife Adrienne founded the distillery and planted an orchard of William pear trees. Entirely self-taught, they discovered the art of distillation and built their distillery. Today, their daughter Martine has taken over the distillery and is developing the family’s precious ancestral expertise. Innovation continues with fruits, spices and plants. All the delicacy and feminine finesse are reflected in these precious bottles of spirits.
