Description
This organic Corsican citron is used to produce an exceptional brandy by the Brana estate. The citrons come from small orchards in Corsica that are farmed organically. Rigorous selection and transport by refrigerated lorry guarantee optimal quality, ensuring that all the freshness and finesse of this delicate fruit is captured. A beautiful aromatic concentration of fresh, zesty fruit. A very dense and smooth attack with lovely freshness. A very long and elegant finish. Best served well chilled at a temperature of 5–6°C.

Production
Picked straight from the tree, the citrons are transported to the distillery in a refrigerated lorry to preserve all their aromas. Upon arrival, the citrons are cut by hand and then left to macerate. One of the secrets lies in the maceration process and the choice of alcohol used for this. Regular tastings of this maceration mixture help to determine the right moment to begin distillation.
Ageing
The citron brandy is aged in stainless steel vats to preserve all the fruit’s freshness. The development of the esters is monitored periodically until the optimum moment of maturity for bottling.
