Description

Les Frontons Flingueurs de La Colombière

is the ultimate wine for enjoyment and conviviality – best served in a magnum! A rich nose of red and black fruits, with hints of flowers and spices. On the palate, it is round and rich, supported by velvety tannins. Perfect for sipping whenever the mood takes you: I once knew a woman from Toulouse who used to drink it for breakfast.

A little history

Just like the cult film that inspired this cuvée, the wine aims to be uninhibited and free from traditional conventions, a little rough around the edges (natural). Popular and accessible to all, yet full of character. A wine to drink and drink again! …

In the vineyard, in the cellar

6 hectares of 100% Négrette, with an average age of 30 years, make up La Colombière’s Les Frontons Flingueurs cuvée. Quartz and sandy loam soils. Organic and biodynamic cultivation. Hand-harvested, destemmed and crushed, then transferred to vats by gravity. Natural vinification without additives. 15-day maceration by infusion. Aged in raw concrete vats for 5 months. Unfined wine, lightly filtered.

What to eat with a magnum of Frontons Flingueurs from La Colombière?
