"This 2017 vintage from Barthélémy has given Château Le Puy a rich, deep, flavourful wine that is free from harshness. It is at once elegant, approachable and delicious. The deep ruby colour with violet hues is sublime. The nose reveals notes of black cherries and crisp blackberries, alongside aromas of undergrowth and mushrooms. The full-bodied, silky palate offers a complexity and depth that commands respect. It promises immense ageing potential."
