Description
David Bienfait produces a splendid Mâcon Villages that shines with its zesty citrus fruit, its refined liveliness and its freshness. The wine comes from a small 1.09-hectare plot of young vines with a magnificent view of Mont Blanc. The minerality is sublime, the floral notes delicate, and the finish delightfully tart. It is the perfect accompaniment to aperitifs, seafood and shellfish. An absolutely remarkable value for money!

David Bienfait’s Mâcon Villages in detail:
- Area: 1.09 ha
- Terroir: This wine comes from young vines facing the Saône, with a view of Mont Blanc on clear days; this terroir enjoys optimal sunshine. The vines, planted in loamy-clay soil, are regularly ploughed and grassed. Yields are carefully controlled.
- Farming: organic (certification 2024)
- Vinification / Ageing: Harvested at optimum ripeness, this cuvée is vinified entirely in vats; temperature-controlled fermentation at low temperatures (12–15°C) produces a very fruity wine with lovely freshness.
