Description
Located in the heart of the village of Chitry, the Giraudon estate produces magnificent wines (white and red) in this satellite appellation of Chablis. Take, for example, the Chitry white, with its golden hue and a nose of lime, grapefruit and white flowers. The wine stands out above all for its crisp, immediate freshness. It then offers a well-balanced roundness on the palate. Who said there was no longer any good value for money in Burgundy?
In the vineyard, in the cellar
At Domaine Giraudon in Chitry (Burgundy), the grapes are harvested by hand, for both whites and reds. The vineyard management includes controlled natural grass cover, short Guyot pruning, as well as protection using the EcoPhyto approach, and sustainable development practices. Temperature control during fermentation and vinification in stainless steel vats enable the production of authentic, natural and distinctive wines. This vinification has no other aim than to bring out the full aromatic and flavour potential of the grapes and the characteristics of the vintage.
