Description
The Vouvray from Domaine du Facteur is made from old Chenin vines grown organically on clay-limestone soils and vinified naturally. The bouquet ranges from lemon, quince and pear, with some floral notes and a hint of honey on the palate. Ageing in 400-litre barrels refines the texture whilst preserving a precise, lively and refined style that makes this Vouvray a mouth-watering and firm wine. Perfect both as an aperitif or to accompany a more gourmet meal such as pasta with clams or a fillet of sole.
