Description
Faugier-Gonnet Hermitage Blanc is crystal-clear, with an intense amber colour and coppery highlights. It reveals floral and spicy notes: vanilla, toasted almond and fresh wood, bergamot, marzipan and candied fruit, gingerbread and mirabelle plum brandy. The dense, powerful palate is balanced by a hint of minerality.
Les Hauts-Chassis
Having joined the family estate in 1998, Franck Faugier soon made a name for himself within the Crozes-Hermitage appellation. His estate, Les Hauts-Chassis, is situated in the heart of the hamlet of the same name, in the southern part of the appellation. The estate covers 13 hectares (12 for reds, 1 for whites). A must-try for all wine lovers seeking great value in the northern Rhône Valley.
