"This Lune à Boire white wine from Alsace is the result of a collaboration between winemaker friends, initiated by the Kreydenweiss estate. It is a blend of terroirs, grape varieties, and even vintages, with a quarter of the blend comprising reserve wines. The result is a fruity, dry, lively and mineral wine that beautifully reflects the terroirs of Alsace. The palate is juicy, rich and rounded. An unpretentious yet incredibly effective wine, perfect for sharing with friends. Do make sure to bring several bottles."

History of the Alsace Lune à Boire vintages?

"Lune à Boire is a story that blends life, people, wine, the moon and the magnificent terroirs of Alsace. This story began in 2014 with Luc, a biodynamic winegrower, from whom we bought our first grapes with the aim of producing Crémant. Then in 2015, we worked with François, an organic winegrower, using Pinot Noir grapes to create the Pinot Boir cuvée under the Marc Kreydenweiss label."

Why Lune à Boire?

"In 2021, the time had come for us to give free rein to our imagination and produce a range of unpretentious wines, designed to be shared and reflecting who we are – and so the Lune à Boire range was born. A collaboration with a Strasbourg-based artist we’ve worked with before, Nathyi. On the wall of our living room, four scratch cards depicting moons with different emotions and facial expressions, printed on old 45rpm vinyl records, which are then stuck onto old aluminium film reel boxes. It’s a certainty! Her work is entirely in line with the overall vision we have for our Lune à Boire vintages. And when evening falls and the wine meets the moon, a vinyl record spins and the wine becomes Lune à Boire!"
