Description
The Primitif cuvée from Domaine Giachino marks a return to the essence of wine as it was once made in Savoie, before the advent of modern oenology. A 100% Jacquère wine that is incredibly fruit-forward, crisp and lively: it feels as though you’re biting into the grape itself. The nose evokes citrus and green apple, subtly enhanced by notes of white flowers. An extremely easy-drinking wine (10.5% ABV), balanced, mineral and tangy, which is perfect as an aperitif or with a wide range of dishes: mushroom pie, ham and Reblochon, gratin dauphinois, fried fish, etc.
