Description
In the style of a clairet, Pierre and Catherine Breton’s Bourgueil Avis de Vin Fort is a fruity Cabernet Franc with a charming character. Fresh and rich, underpinned by subtle tannins and a luscious body, it has lost none of its alluring appeal.
In the vineyard, in the cellar
Fifty-year-old Cabernet Franc vines on gravelly soil, certified organic and cultivated according to the biodynamic calendar. Hand-harvested and carefully sorted. Alcoholic fermentation followed by malolactic fermentation, using natural yeasts and bacteria. Aged in wooden vats in the attic until spring, bottled in April with a light sulphur treatment.
