Description
Un chien dans un jeu de quilles is the latest gem from Pierre and Catherine Breton’s estate. It is a lightly macerated Pineau d’Aunis (100%) aged for around thirty years. A rich and delicately spiced wine: a pure treat! … If there’s any left after the aperitif, it’ll go beautifully with roasted monkfish, veal or chicken fillets with mild spices.
Method of working :
The cuvée “Un Chien dans un jeu de quilles” from Domaine Breton in details :

Pineau d’Aunis, back in favour in the Loire
Formerly known as Chenin Noir, it is now back in the spotlight, particularly in the world of natural wines. Winemakers and wine lovers appreciate its light colour verging on dark pink, its freshness, its lightness and its subtle peppery notes, which make it highly distinctive on the palate. It produces a wine with low alcohol content, supple and with a very aromatic flavour. Just like Pierre and Catherine Breton’s ‘Un chien dans une jeu de quilles’ cuvée.
