The wines of Provence have more and more domains in organic, biodynamic and/or natural methods. It must be said that the wines of Provence suffer from global warming, the great challenge of the coming years for the winemakers.
Between the Alps and the Mediterranean, the Provençal vineyard includes several appellations among which Bandol, Palette, Cassis, Baux de Provence, the Côtes de Provence, the Coteaux d’Aix, the Coteaux Varois … as well as a good number of PGIs.
The main wines of Provence are cinsault, syrah, grenache and mourvedre for the reds. In white, we find the Rolle (Vermentinu), the Clairette but also Sauvignon, Ugni and some other grape varieties.
