Vincent Charlot (Charlot-Tanneux) is an unconventional and fascinating Champagne winemaker based in Mardeuil, a stone’s throw from Épernay. He works organically, but above all using biodynamic methods, on a multitude of small plots around Épernay. Passionate and inexhaustible, he makes his own compost and preparations and grows most of the plants he uses himself. For over 15 years, he has been doing exceptional work to revitalise the soil, fauna and flora. His wines are the very expression of this vital energy that many winemakers, journalists and researchers come to admire.
