Description
At every stage of the tasting, this little gem inspires patience and contemplation. First and foremost, it is hard not to linger over the deep golden colour with coppery highlights, which in itself provides intense pleasure. Next, it is the great aromatic complexity that impresses: notes of honey, citrus peel, grapefruit, figs and dried fruit, but also more subtle notes of jasmine and mountain hay. One never tires of this whirlwind of aromas. On the palate, the expected richness and density are confirmed, yet they give way to a lively, guiding acidity. It is precisely this that characterises this Chambave Muscat Flétri: balanced and sinuous, never too sweet, nor ever boring in its sweetness. A truly great sweet wine!
