Description
La Tuilerie du Puy’s Entre-deux-mers Tradition is a brilliant wine with golden-yellow and green hues. The nose reveals notes of broom and exotic fruits. The attack is round and fruity. On the palate, this wine offers notes of pineapple, grapefruit and apricot. The finish is long and nicely balanced by a touch of acidity. Perfect with a seafood platter.
In the vineyard, in the cellar
- Terroir: Clay-limestone soil.
- Grape varieties: Sauvignon Blanc: 65%, Sémillon: 20%, Muscadelle: 10%, Sauvignon Gris: 5%
- Yield: 50 hl/ha
- The vines: Average age of the plots: 35 years
- Pruning: Double Guyot (5,000 vines per hectare)
- Vinification: The grapes, harvested plot by plot, are destemmed and sorted. We then carry out skin maceration
for 24 to 48 hours, after which the grapes are pressed and fermented at low temperature in separate
temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. - Ageing: The wines are aged for 2 to 4 months on fine lees to impart fruitiness and richness whilst preserving their
great freshness. We stir the lees every 10 days depending on tastings.
