With this YOU FUCK MY WINE cuvée, Fabien Jouves offers us a blend of indulgence and surprise. First of all, with grape varieties such as Jurançon Noir, a cross between Malbec and Folle Blanche. And Valdiguié, another little-known cousin of Malbec. The curiosity to rediscover forgotten grape varieties is combined here with pleasure, for that is precisely what this is all about. The colour is deep, the nose marked by ripe black fruits; one might almost expect concentration. Well, not at all! … The palate is certainly quite round, full-bodied and bursting with fruit, but with that signature extreme drinkability from Fabien Jouves. The fruit, the tension, the depth, the cheerful vinosity… it’s all there!

is a blend of Valdiguié, Jurançon Noir, Malbec and Merlot. Average vine age 50 years.
Hand-harvested, natural vinification, whole bunches, 7-day vatting. Fermentation in concrete vats and barrels. Aged in concrete vats and barrels for 6 months. Total

Fabien Jouves’ Mas del Périé estate
comes from an old farming family in the Causse region. He became a winegrower in 2006 by establishing Mas del Périé
on the highest slopes of Cahors. Malbec (Cot) is the dominant grape variety there. The estate is situated at the junction of the terroirs of the Quercy hillsides and those of Cahors. Selecting specific plots was the obvious choice to express the different facets of Malbec. This expression of the terroir is enhanced by biodynamic farming that respects life and the plant. As well as people and their environment.
