Description
This white Irouleguy from the Arretxea estate comes from a schist plot that lends the wine breadth and depth. Aromas of cherry blossom, kumquat and lemongrass shape the bouquet, complemented by a distinct minerality (flint). On the palate, the wine first reveals its power and density, centred on a pulpy texture with harmonious contours. Then the body gradually gives way to a finely chiselled acidity and a salty, slightly smoky finish. This is a great white wine that shines with its delicacy and precision.
