Description
Michaël Regaud (La Tuilerie du Puy
) produces an exclusive Bordeaux Supérieur made from 100% Carménère, vinified without sulphites… and that’s it!
This capricious, late-ripening grape variety, widely grown in Chile, finds a new lease of life here, as if to recall its Bordeaux origins. Driven by an alluring fruitiness (plum, black cherry, hints of tobacco and roasted notes), the wine is underpinned by silky tannins. Its fullness contributes to the wine’s richness, whilst the slightly peppery finish lends it a certain elegance.
