"This rosé from Fabien Jouves (Mas del Périé) could well change your view of rosé wines, and is sure to get you sitting down to dinner! … The aromatic complexity is magnificent (tart red berries, raspberry, redcurrant), along with grapefruit aromas and a few floral notes. Partially destemmed, this rosé offers depth and good structure for the table. Ultimately, it is its minerality, freshness and, above all, its deliciousness that stand out."

Fabien Jouves’ Mas del Périé estate

Fabien JOUVES comes from an old farming family in the Causse region. He became a winegrower in 2006 by establishing Mas del Périé on the highest slopes of Cahors. Malbec (Cot) is the dominant grape variety here. The estate is situated at the junction of the terroirs of the Quercy hillsides and those of Cahors. Selecting specific plots was the obvious choice to express the different facets of Malbec. This expression of the terroir is enhanced by biodynamic farming that respects life and the plant. As well as people and their environment.
