The Rouges Queues’ Celsius cuvée is a real powerhouse of a Gamay from the Coteaux Bourguignons appellation. It boasts vibrant fruit, just the right amount of liveliness and a silky texture.
The estate
Isabelle and Jean-Yves Vantey established their Les Rouges Queues estate in 1998 in the south of the Côte de Beaune. They cultivate around 6 hectares around the small village of Sampigny-Les-Maranges. Their philosophy is to allow the Maranges terroir to express itself through authentic wines. To achieve this, they use certified organic and biodynamic cultivation methods, alongside gentle, natural winemaking techniques that respect the work done in the vineyards.
