Description
Chapeau de Paille is a rosé wine from the Agarrus estate, classified under the Cévennes PGI. A blend of Grenache (50%) and Syrah (50%), this elegant and full-bodied rosé bears the unmistakable signature of Serge Scherrer. We particularly appreciate its distinct aroma, which oscillates between citrus and floral notes. The texture is remarkable, the winey character just right; this is a lovely rosé for your summer aperitifs, but also for a few carefully chosen pairings such as a thick slice of grilled tuna.
In the vineyard, in the cellar
50% Grenache, 50% Syrah. After harvesting, the grapes are left in a cold room for 24 to 48 hours before pressing. Fermentation takes place at a low temperature (around 17°C) in stainless steel vats.
