Description
With his K-Lys, Emmanuel Rybinski realizes at Clos Troteligotte a micro parcel cuvée of Cahors that combines an assertive character and a remarkable accessibility. The intensity is as much visual (deep purple dress) as it is olfactory. Black fruits (plum, blackberry), morello cherry, notes of undergrowth, a floral touch of violet and some sweet spices. Splendid! … Despite its very assertive character and slightly earthy profile, the wine favors elegance, finesse over power and extraction. It can now be served with a lamb and bean collar, but will be even more appealing in a few years around simmered game and noble mushrooms (porcini mushrooms, morels, etc.).

About the estate
Emmanuel Rybinski has been practicing peasant viticulture since 1987 with a deep respect for the land and biodiversity. Certified in organic and biodynamic agriculture, the estate is also engaged in agroforestry and eco-farming. Le Clos Troteligotte is made up of 16 hectares of vines perched on the high-altitude terroirs of the Cahors appellation, in the heart of a 35-hectare wooden setting. A unique place, a point of harmony between the Lot valley and the Causses du Quercy Blanc. The red grape varieties have their roots in a Kimmeridgian and Siderolithic clay-limestone terroir, rich in iron from the Causses de Cahors, while the white grape varieties are on a Quercy Blanc clay-limestone terroir known as “Stampian”. The interaction between man and nature continues in the winery where vinifications are done naturally and without sulfite. The result is living wines, expressing the link between mineral and plant, fruit and complexity, the culture of the earth and that of the spirit.
