Description
VDB (Grand Bon Blanc) is reminiscent of some of the great wines from the Chablis region. This estate’s flagship wine is a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Riesling du Rhin and Sauvignon Blanc. Eighteen months’ ageing on the lees in French oak barrels lends it incredible aromatic complexity. Yellow fruits, exotic fruits, mirabelle plums, acacia honey, tarte tatin, spices, a hint of rancio… The wine’s impressive richness coexists with a distinct minerality featuring hints of flint. What a knockout!
