Description
Dobra ViniceChardonnay Qvevri is a macerated Chardonnay aged in a 1,000-litre Georgian amphora (terracotta). Skin maceration lasts 9 months, followed by 12 months of barrel ageing. Words fail to capture the uniqueness of this dry, crystal-clear macerated wine. The allure of the aromatic bouquet revolves around orchard fruits, mandarin peel and hints of truffle. Sublime! The rest unfolds on the palate with effortless ease: blood orange, a touch of spice and a classy bitterness on the finish. To call it a great wine is a gentle understatement.
