Description
Julien Chopin’s Les Originelles Blanc de Rosé Premier Cru Champagne breaks with the usual conventions of rosé champagne whilst retaining its freshness. This distinctive champagne boasts a fine, lively effervescence. It stands out for the intensity of its aromas and colour, centred on red fruits. This intensity stems from the perpetual reserve (2005/2022) of Premier Cru Chardonnay grapes, which lend depth and character to this cuvée. You will appreciate its balance and red fruit aromas as an aperitif, or as part of a more gourmet dining experience.
In the vineyard, in the cellar
The Chopin house, based in the village of Monthelon (south of Épernay), has been cultivating vines since the 18th century, but it was not until 1947 that the Julien CHOPIN brand was established. The vines are cultivated in accordance with Champagne traditions, whilst also employing a system of integrated pest management to protect the environment.
Julien Chopin’s Les Originelles Blanc de Rosé Champagne is produced from predominantly clay-limestone soils. Aged on lees for approximately 24 months
