Vignerons d’Estézargues
Côtes du Rhône Villages Signargues
Grès Saint-Vincent 2024

9.00

“The Grès Saint-Vincent Côtes du Rhône Villages Signargues is undoubtedly one of the most blended wine from the Vignerons d’Estézargues. A predominance of old plots of Grenache complemented by Syrah, Cinsault, Mourvèdre and Carignan. Softness and elegance are the most appropriate denominatives to define it. The initial freshness of red berries (currant, cherry) is combined with notes of sweet spices (cinnamon and liquorice). The tannins are always very sweet and their silky texture ensures a delicate texture. A beautiful identity.”

The Vignerons d’Estézargues

There are around ten winegrowers in the Estézargues group, united under a ‘pilot’ cooperative winery, with each winegrower retaining their own production, identity and working methods. Founded in 1965, the winery is situated a stone’s throw from Lirac. The Vignerons d’Estézargues have committed to responsible viticulture and have been vinifying without additives for over twenty years, using spontaneous fermentation (indigenous yeasts), without fining or filtration. The wines beautifully reflect their terroir with varied expressions and exceptional value for money To find out more, visit the Vignerons d’Estézargues website

After the retirement of Claude, then Maria, it is Patrick Vincent, their son who took over the reins of the family farm Grès Saint-Vincent. Possessing many old, very qualitative plots in the soils of terraces, they naturally chose to develop their cuvée in Côtes du Rhône Villages, now Signargues meanwhile
