Description
The 2017 Rancio Tuilé from Domaine Le Clot de l'Origine is an exceptional Maury made from old Grenache vines. 30 days’ maceration, 60 months in barrels. The intensely aromatic nose combines candied dried fruit, mild spices, prunes and figs… magnificent! On the palate, the sweetness is perfectly balanced by a surprising freshness, a velvety texture and silky tannins. Hints of nuts and dried fruit on the finish.

- Grape varieties: 100% Grenache Noir
- Soils: Black schist, south-facing
- Terroir: Maury
- Farming methods: organic. Ploughing and grubbing once a year. Clearing of vines with a pickaxe. Treatments with sulphur, copper and essential oils.
- Yield: 15 hl/ha
- Vinification: Fermentation in vats for 2 weeks, indigenous yeasts, fortification with organic alcohol at the end of September
- Ageing: 6 months on fine lees in 300-litre barrels
