Clot de l'Origine was established in 2004 in Maury, Roussillon. Its founders, Marc and Caroline Barriot, have cultivated their 10-hectare estate organically since its creation in 2004 (certified since 2009). The various vineyard plots are spread across four different terroirs, from Salses-le-Château to Caudiès-de-Fenouillèdes, passing through Maury and Calce. Marc and Caroline Barriot's core principle is to cultivate the vines as naturally as possible and to vinify in a way that truly reflects the terroir. The resulting wines from Clot de l'Origine are characterized by their lightness, combining minerality with pleasure.
