About Benjamin Taillandier
Starting from scratch, with nothing but his courage and convictions, Benjamin Taillandier aims to produce wines ‘the old-fashioned way’ and cannot conceive of any farming method other than organic (AB-certified since the 2011 vintage). His estate now covers 13 hectares spread across no fewer than 21 plots. He is committed to creating personal, artisanal wines and offers an alternative vision of the winemaker’s craft. His aim is to minimise human intervention as much as possible, both in terms of cultivation and winemaking. Alongside his friend and mentor Jean-Baptiste Sénat, he is a member of the winemakers’ collective “Changer l’Aude en Vin”.
