Description
The Jadis cuvée from the Léon Barral estate is a Faugères wine with a distinct Mediterranean character. Full-bodied, complex and elegantly structured, with a surprising mineral freshness. The aromatic profile encompasses a wide range of Mediterranean notes: ripe black fruits, pepper, zest, garrigue, tapenade… The palate offers a rich, full-bodied and dense texture. The finish is exceptional, carried by the minerality of the schist. A matured cut of beef, a spicy prune tagine or a seven-hour leg of lamb would pair perfectly with it.
